(with some pro tips & tricks)

Ua hōʻea! Yay your nails strips arrived! Now what? These strips are fairly easy to use, and get even easier with practice. E hahai mai iaʻu - follow these steps for best looking and longest lasting manis!
__
1. Open your box and take out your supplies. You should have alcohol wipes, a file and burnisher (small wooden stick) and your nail strips in a black plastic bag.
__
2. Prep your nails however you'd like - file them to the right shape, clip your hangnails, prep your cuticles, whatever you need to do to get them looking fresh.
__
3. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! This step is so important - wipe down your nails (and fingertips) with the alcohol wipe(s). If you fingers or nails are oily or dirty, the nails won't last as long!
*Pro tip - do another clean of your second hand after you finished your first hand just in case some lepo snuck on while you were finishing up your first hand.
__
4. Open your nail strips (use scissors or your nail clippers cuz that buggah is tough to open!) Pick a nail, find a size that matches, peel off the plastic protector, then peel the nail off of the backing and place it on your nail.
*Pro tip - if you can't find a perfect match, pick one that's a little smaller as opposed to bigger. Then, when you place the too small strip on, stick just the center down first, then pull the edges (that are not yet adhered to your nail) to fit your nail. Be very gentle, and don't try to pull up a section that is already touching your nail - it can ruin the strip. OR stretch it a bit before you put it on!
__
5. Use the burnisher to smooth down the edges and make sure the whole strip is adhered to your nail.
__
6. Clip off extra with a nail clipper. No need to be perfect here, just get it close to the nail.
__
*Pro tip - just before you cure it with the lamp, double check all nails to make sure they're all smooth and flat (especially the top corners). If you cure it and it's lifted somewhere, it'll harden like that!
__
7. CURE IT! (Don't forget this step, it is crucial to the process!) Our lamps come with a built in timer, so you just press the button, place your fingers underneath, then let it do it's thing. Once the light turns off, it's done!
__
8. Take your file and file the top edge to get rid of any remaining extra or any lumps and bumps.
*Pro tip - Do all of these steps on just ONE hand, then once you're done move onto the next hand. If you try to do two hands, you can sometimes mess up a nail or two before they're cured.
__
BONUS: If you have a gel clear polish, put a coat on each nail and cure one more time, paying particular attention to the top edge of the nail. Adding a top coat can extend the life of your mani!

Removal:
1. To take them off, just use the burnisher from the kit to lift the wrap off. Get it between your nail and the wrap and slide under. Sometimes, especially if your mani is fairly new, wetting the stick before using helps to lift the wraps off more easily.
2. Clean any extra adhesive residue with the second alcohol pad.
